Happy Birthday, Abby!

The sonogram has confirmed that the baby is going to be a girl!

It seemed like yesterday, but actually yesterday was my granddaughter’s 1^st birthday.

A year ago this Grandma started to pull out the fabrics choices and designed a baby quilt.  Actually, Grandma made two for Abby.

With extra fabric, burp cloths in the same prints were add to the gifts for the new Mom.  Grandma always had extra yardage and with matching binding, so Abby had a few receiving blankets that match her new quilts.

This grandma, who quilts, will always have a special baby quilts for her grandchildren.

Designing quilts has been my special talent.  When I ended up with more quilts than I had grandchildren to give them to, I donated many of my designs and started my own business to share them with others.
